Mobility contributes significantly to our corporate footprint. That is why we are working on – and encouraging – mobility with a low CO2 impact.
Following collective labour agreement negotiations, we adjusted our mobility policy in the spring of 2023. The most important change is that we now fully reimburse commuting by public transport. LVNL employees who live within 15 km of work will also retain their travel allowance if they make use of our bicycle allowance. This makes it easier for them to alternate between cycling and driving. These changes are a positive step towards a more sustainable mobility policy.
Since 2018, we have been working on making our vehicle fleet more sustainable. By the end of 2025, all passenger cars in the LVNL fleet will be electric or hybrid.
LVNL supports KLM's Corporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel Programme to scale up the use of biofuel. The more companies use biofuel, the easier and cheaper it becomes to use it more widely. LVNL uses biofuel for all flights taken by LVNL employees with KLM or a partner company.
