With the support of airlines, LVNL and Schiphol have launched a joint programme of measures to reduce noise from air traffic.
'Minder Hinder Schiphol' is a joint programme by LVNL and Schiphol to reduce noise nuisance from air traffic.
The programme was developed in 2020 based on suggestions and proposals from local residents, administrators, the Regional Forum of the Schiphol Environmental Council at the time, the top 20 complaints received by the Local Community Contact Centre (BAS), our own expertise, and innovations in aviation techniques and systems. Since the programme's introduction, several measures have been researched, designed, implemented, and evaluated for their impact on the local community. New measures have also been added to the programme.
