Test flights

Test flights to and from Schiphol are permitted from Monday to Friday, daily between 0600 and 2100 UTC summer time (between 0500 and 2000 UTC winter time), except on public holidays.

Excluded from these times are:

  • test flights to and from Schiphol that perform a test outside the Schiphol CTR.

In all cases, permission from the Operational Helpdesk is required. To do this, follow the application procedure.

  2. Fill in the application form.
  3. Send the completed application form by e-mail to the Operational Helpdesk at least 24 hours before the start of the test flight.
  4. As soon as you have received provisional permission from the Operational Helpdesk, you must submit a flight plan.

  • Item 15: outbound route to test area – STAY indicator – inbound route from test area
  • Item 18: STAYINFOn/ en RMK/COOR ATC

Use the de re-addressfunctie in IFPS to send the flight plan also to the address of the Operational Helpdesk (EHAMZXHD).
