The Operational Helpdesk is part of Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (hereinafter: LVNL). The personal data provided by you will be processed by: LVNL PO Box 75200 1117 ZT Schiphol LVNL is responsible for this data processing and processes your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).).
WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
If a special flight or a special activity is performed in Dutch airspace, this requires consultation between the applicant for a flight or activity and the relevant air traffic control service in order to prevent unclear situations during the flight or activity. That is why the intentions are discussed in advance and agreements are made. The OHD ensures that these agreements are known to the relevant air traffic control service and, if necessary, are included in a NOTAM.
For special flights, we use forms, in which we process the following personal data in addition to operational information:
- name of applicant and/or captain
- phone number applicant/captain
- e-mail address applicant/captain
For special activities, we request a written and well-motivated request in which the following personal data can be processed:
- applicant name
- applicant's address
- phone number applicant
- applicant email address
FOR WHAT PURPOSES DOES LVNL PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
The personal data referred to above are processed by LVNL in order to register and process your request and to make concrete agreements with you about the special flights or special activity to be carried out. In addition, your data will be processed to inform interested parties about your aviation activities. LVNL does this on the basis of its statutory task of providing aviation information services and publishing aviation publications and aviation charts as described in Section 5.23 of the Aviation Act.
HOW LONG WILL MY PERSONAL DATA BE KEEPED?
Your personal data will be kept for 5 years on the basis of the Selection List for LVNL's archive records.
WILL MY PERSONAL DATA BE SHARED WITH THIRD PARTIES?
Your data will not be passed on or sold to third parties. Your personal data will only be shared with the relevant units of the air traffic control services and organizations (such as the Residents Contact Point Schiphol, BAS.) for which this is important.
ARE MY PERSONAL DATA SECURE?
We attach great importance to your privacy. That is why we have taken security measures to prevent theft, loss or other unlawful use of personal data. The information exchange with our website is secured and encrypted.
WHERE CAN I SUBMIT A REQUEST TO VIEW, CORRECT OR REMOVE MY PERSONAL DATA?
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent for data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by LVNL and the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold in a computer file to you or another organization mentioned by you.
If you want to make use of your right to object and/or right to data portability or if you have other questions/comments about data processing, please send a specified request to: personal [email protected].
With a written request to exercise your rights, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity in which the passport photo and citizen service number have been made invisible. This is to protect your privacy.
