Coordinate non-standard route

Deviating from standard routes or applicable restrictions in an IFR flight plan? Check with the Operational Helpdesk before putting RMK/RTECOORATC in ITEM 18.

Coordinate FOR USE RMK/RTECOORATC

If you want to submit a flight plan for an IFR flight that deviates from standard routes or applicable restrictions, you must coordinate this with LVNL. You contact the Operational Helpdesk.

The Operational Helpdesk discusses your request with operational air traffic control. After approval of the request, you may submit a flight plan with RMK/RTECOORATC in item 18. Behind this remark, you indicate what part of the route is coordinated and with whom, for instance:

  • Complete route coordinated: RMK/RTECOORATC LVNL
  • Part of route coordinated: RMK/RTECOORATC EHAAACC (for the part of the route in Dutch airspace)

A flight plan with RMK/RTECOORATC that has not been coordinated and for which LVNL has not given permission will be rejected.

No RMK/IFPSRA

Using RMK/RTECOORATC in combination with RMK/IFPSRA is not allowed.
