Flights with a specific character (hereafter 'special flights') require additional co-ordination between the applicant and the air traffic service concerned (also see AIP Netherlands ENR 1-2, paragraaf 3.2.5) in order to prevent any unclarities during the flight. To ensure as little RTF as possible on an active frequency, intentions are considered and agreements are made before the flight has started.
The Operational Help Desk functions as point of contact for the pilot, co-ordinates the special flight with the air traffic service concerned, and reports any additional requirements to the applicant.
Here you will find information about the following type of special flights

Application deadlines for special flights
Each type of special flight has its own application deadline. This deadline depends on the impact a flight has on the regular air traffic and what LVNL needs to do to facilitate the flight. You can find the application deadline on the web page about the flight or on the application form.
The approval for a special flight from LVNL, is always provisional. The operational circumstances at the time of flight operation may require an air traffic unit to cancel an earlier clearance or to not issue a clearance at all, for safety purposes. LVNL cannot be held responsible for any consequences this might have.
